Otitis

Otitis is a general term for inflammation or infection of the ear, in both humans and other animals.

TYPES OF OTITIS

Otitis Externa	aka swimmer's ear, or earcahe it affects the outer ear and ear canal it features tenderness of the ear when touched, and swelling it might be caused by eczema, microbial or fungal infection it might be accompained by irritation of the throat
Otitis media	aka middle ear infection or earache it affects the middel ear between ear drum and the inner ear it occurs commonly among children it is usually accompained by a viral or bacterial upper respiratory infection
Otitis Interna	aka labyrinthitis it affects the inner ear it features vertigo, nausea, vomiting, and rarely haering loss it might be due to viral or bacterial inflammation, but also to head injury, allergy, reaction to a drug, etc.
