In human beings, phytoestrogens are readily absorbed thanks to their similar structure.
Several ongoing studies are reasearching on possible beneficila effects of phytoestrogen dietary intake.
The early reports have suggegested that phytoestrogens can significantly decrease menopausal symptoms, besides lower heart diesease risks, prevent the bone loss, protect againts bowel cancer and prostate cancer.
Futher research about this possible effects is still needed though.
